Some of the greatest Formula 1 stars promoted Bansko during the charity football match, organized by the Prince of Monaco Albert II. The logo of the top resort of the Balkans stood on the tickets for the mega event.
The reigning World champion Sebastian Vettel from Germany (Red Bull) and Ferrari drivers Fernando Alonso, Spain, and Felipe Massa, Brazil, were among a selection of F1 drivers, turning out for Nazionale Piloti before the Monaco Grand Prix.
Nico Rosberg, Vitaly Petrov, Jaime Alguersuari, Jarno Trulli and Sergio Perez were the other current F1 drivers hoping to beat The Star Team for the Children, led by Prince Albert II.
As it is known, the STFC had to take part in the World Star Ski Event in Bansko in the end of March this year. The charity competition in the Pirin Mountains was cancelled due to the decease of Prince Antoinette.
The presence of Bansko in the build up of the charity football match is a gesture of tribute of Prince Albert II to the Winter Albert II to the Winter Capital of the Balkans. The name of the resort stood on b2 advertising wall panels, as well as on the tickets and the leaflets for the event.
Funds raised were donated to AMADE – the Association Mondiale des Amis de l’Enfance, and to LILT – Lega Italiana control Tumori.
Prolific goal scorer and ex-Ferrari driver Giancarlo Fisichella was also present in the drivers’ team, as was Team Lotus test driver Ricardo Teixeira. British representative came in the form of Sam Bird, who races in GP2.
The match took place at the Louis II Stadium in Monte Carlo.
Prince Albert will bring his Star Team For the Children to Bansko in the end of January. At least 3 F1 stars are expected in Bansko in January 2012. The world tennis star Novak Djokovic, who has been invited, will not probably come then. https://www.hotreplicas.net |
